Steps I took to START a Digital marketing as a Student in PNG
Step# 1:
I purchased the Digital Marketing Business Guide from a fellow Papua New Guinean for K100 You don’t have to spend K100 like I did to start my online business. You can start yours for as low as K27 especially if you are a student or someone who cannot afford a high ticket product or take that huge risk. I have a low ticket product selling at K27 which is the Faceless Marketing Guide. This is the exact guide I use for my faceless TikTok account Nogat Pes Digital Marketer.
Step#2:
I spent almost 3 weeks going through the guide page by page and trying to make sense of everything. I took note of anything I did not understand and did some research to learn more. I also had to go back and watch her videos to gain ideas on what I was required to do. Yes! I had to put in the work out of my desperation to succeed. The guide taught me how to edit, rebrand and own it. It also taught me how to identify my niche and target audience and also how to plan and create content in the form of videos and graphics to promote and resell the eBook on TikTok. It basically covers everything a complete beginner will need to know.
Step#3:
I edited and rebranded to eBook to make it my own product. This took me almost a week. I had to have a lot of patience and watched a lot of YouTube videos to help with this task.
Step#4:
I created a new TikTok business account and started creating videos to promote my business and the digital marketing guide to anyone looking for an opportunity to start an online business
You may ask, did you struggle? Yes I struggled at first showing up on camera and speaking but that didn’t stop me. I became more and more confident each day and my confidence grew when my audience started to trust me and purchase the digital marketing guide seeing the value I was able to provide in my videos.
Step#5:
I went on to purchase more products a month later which includes my website template which I now sell on my website and you can find the list towards to end of this guide. I only did this after I was able to generate consistent income from my sales.
When you purchase any of these products, you are actually buying value in the form of knowledge that is able to build you up in the long term.
Important Note
I make money when someone buys any of my eBooks listed. My customers are from PNG only right now.
They make the payment by transferring the amount into my BSP bank account using SMS (Mobile) or internet banking. This is the common method of payment most SMEs in PNG use.
I don’t make money from receiving likes, views or followers from TikTok.
